Campus Pedestrian Enhancements - 58th Street & University Avenue
A stretch of 58th Street from Woodlawn to University avenues will close permanently on Tuesday, June 18 to accommodate an ongoing campus pedestrian enhancement project.
The campus community can expect the following:
--58th Street will be closed to pedestrian traffic from Tuesday, June 18 through June 2014.
--On June 18, fencing will be installed to enclose the project site, and remain in place through June 2014.
--An alternate pedestrian path behind Oriental Institute will be marked with signage; the path is indicated on the project map (below).
--The work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
