UPDATE: Network Connectivity Issues
Oct. 9, 2013 - As of 9:30 a.m., general network connectivity has been restored. However, residual problems are still causing issues with access to some specific services, including cVPN and Griffin. ITS technicians are working to resolve the problem.
Recap of event: At approximately 7:45 a.m. users began reporting sporadic problems accessing network services from the campus, as well as VPN connections from off-campus. As of 9:30 a.m. the issue was traced to a central network switch, which was subsequently re-set; the reset resolved general networking issues but left some specific services inaccessible. ITS technicians are working to resolve the problem.
