Harper Library Roof and Façade Restoration project
As we continue with the structural inspection of the archway from Harper Library to Stuart Hall, beginning on July 17, there is a need to close off the area under the archway to pedestrians. The closure will facilitate the removal and replacement of the stone and steel support.
The campus community can expect the following:
--Rework of the existing Harper Library north side ramp to maintain the existing accessible entrance into Harper Library.
--Accessible access into Social Sciences will be maintained.
--Work to remove the steel and stone may be noisy and dusty at times.
--Signage will be in place to inform pedestrians of no through walk way under the archway.
--Closure schedule updates will be provided with the weekly project reports.
