City of Chicago Water Department Work
Please be aware the City of Chicago is scheduled to perform water main work on five consecutive Saturdays beginning Feb. 9, weather permitting.
The campus community can expect the following during this work:
--Pedestrian access will be routed around the work areas along Woodlawn and University avenues; the work areas are highlighted in yellow on this map.
--Vehicular access will be maintained with traffic control monitors; lane shifts and reductions can be anticipated.
--Water shut-offs are not anticipated during this work.
--The work will be noisy at times.
--Work will take place between 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. on those Saturdays and will conclude on March 9.
