Searle Laboratory Clean Room Project Crane Lift
On Saturday, October 20th a crane lift is scheduled for the Searle Laboratory Clean Room Project. The campus community can expect the following:
--The crane will be located on Ellis Avenue adjacent to Searle Laboratory.
--Parking on the east and west sides of Ellis Avenue will be restricted around the crane location.
--One-way vehicle traffic on Ellis Avenue will be maintained. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic around the crane location.
--The west sidewalk of Ellis Avenue will remain open.
--The east sidewalk of Ellis Avenue, the Searle-Snell pass-through, and the Searle west entrance will be closed to protect pedestrians as material is lifted overhead.
--Working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. with noisy work scheduled to begin after 8 a.m.
