Water shutdown at 58th Street & Kenwood Avenue (phase 2 of 2)
Please be aware that a water shutdown at 58th Street & Kenwood Avenue will occur on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. The community can expect the following during this work:
--Several city water lines will be shutdown to replace existing underground pipes as required by the City of Chicago
--Water service to the following areas will be shutdown during the hours of operation:
--Kenwood Avenue from 57th through 58th Streets (East and West sides)
--58th Street from Dorchester to Kimbark Avenues (North and South sides)
--Pedestrian access will be re-routed around the work areas
--Vehicular traffic will remain undisturbed
--A flagger will be present to monitor pedestrian and vehicular traffic
--Hours of operation will be 8:00 a.m. through 11:00am
