Chilled Water Pipe Modifications
Location: Between Cobb and Swift Halls
Dates: March 21, 2012 - March 25, 2012
Between Wednesday, March 21st and Sunday, March 25th, chilled water pipe modifications near Cobb and Swift Halls will take place. The work is necessary to improve cooling to campus buildings. The campus community can expect the following:
--A section of pavers northeast of Cobb Hall will be excavated to expose the chilled water pipes. A fence will be erected around the work area.
--The pedestrian pathway northwest of Swift Hall will be closed, but the bike racks will remain accessible.
--Equipment will be driven onto the Main Quad to and from the work area.
--The work will be noisy at times.
--Any chilled water shutdowns will be coordinated to minimize impact on campus buildings.
