REGENSTEIN CHILLED WATER SYSTEM SHUTDOWN: Overnights, May 7-9, May 12-14
Beginning Wednesday, May 7th at 5:00 PM, work will begin to relocate the chilled water line west of the Regenstein Library. During this project, some buildings connected to the Regenstein chilled water distribution system will not have air conditioning. The air conditioning will be off between the hours of 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM each day of the project. While the chilled water distribution system is off, outside air will be used to cool the buildings. Following is a list of activities the campus community can expect in regards to this work:
--The chilled water shutdown will take place between the hours of 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM on the evenings of Wednesday, May 7th , Thursday, May 8th, Monday, May 12th, and Tuesday, May13th.
--Chilled water will be available during the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM to allow for air conditioning.
--Noisy equipment will be located on the south side of Erman Biology Center. The equipment will be operated between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM each day of the project.
--The sidewalk to the south of Erman Biology Center will be closed.
--On Monday, May 12th, the sidewalk and parking along 57th Street and west of the Regenstein main entrance will be closed.
--Project dates are subject to weather conditions. --Signs will be posted directing pedestrians around work sites.
